- Starting from a handshake. (Assuming the other person has ill intentions toward you, and you picked up on this.)
- Pull the opponents hand toward you and up.
- Reach your left arm over their arm.
- Grab your own lapel.
- Drop your left shoulder to off balance the opponent.
- Put downward pressure on the hand to hyperextend the elbow.
