- From the standard starting position, take Uke’s kazushi by pulling with your left arm.
- Turn into Uke so that your back is against his chest.
- Continue to pull with your left hand at Uke’s elbow.
- Leave your right hand on Uke’s gi at the lapel and swing your right elbow up into Uke’s left arm pit.
- Drop to your right knee and look to your left. Uke will fall over your right shoulder.
